About The Everyday Ayurveda Team

Jacob Griscom, President of Everyday Ayurveda

I started studying Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda when I was 18 years old. I had already gotten deeply involved with Yoga and meditation through Paramahansa Yogananda’s classic Autobiography of a Yogi, and Ayurveda, the “sister science” of Yoga, grabbed me immediately as a holistic approach to individual health that addresses unique constitution and needs, including the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects.

When I started my Ayurvedic practice I realized, like many holistic health practitioners, that knowledge of these incredible systems was not enough to create a successful business. I also needed to learn how to clearly communicate the power and ability of these systems to address their needs: finding their ideal weight, reducing stress, addressing the root causes of chronic diseases like diabetes and thyroid disorders. When I addressed specific groups of people with specific needs, the response and results were fantastic.

Since those early days with my practice, I’ve spent a lot of time understanding sustainability and social justice and have become a leader in these fields through my company, BetterWorld Telecom, and my non-profit organization, Sacramento Sustainability Forum. These collective culture and systems movements are just as relevant to health as an individual’s experience and behavior, and complete the entire landscape that I call Integral Ayurveda.

The mission of Everyday Ayurveda is to empower Ayurvedic practitioners and students to build successful businesses and become leaders of systemic and cultural change in their communities.

Marc Quinn, Senior Web Genius

Marc Quinn is really the brains behind the operation. Well, the technical brains that is. He is responsible for making sure all the Everyday Ayurveda websites are working properly as well as actually building Ayurveda websites for the EA clients.

Because of Marc’s training in marketing, he builds websites for clients on the Grow Your Ayurveda Business program that actually convert visitors into clients (rather than just something that “looks pretty”).

Marc loves design and thinks you should definitely hire him for your next web site.
